Malaysia Student Visa & EMGS Guide 2026 for International Students

Official process for Bangladeshi students
Apply to a Malaysian University and receive your 'Letter of Offer'.
University applies for your VAL (Visa Approval Letter) through the EMGS portal.
Complete the 'Health Declaration' and pay the EMGS processing fees (approx. RM 2,000 - 3,000).
Once eVAL is issued (70%-80% on EMGS tracking), apply for an eVisa (Single Entry Visa) online.
Travel to Malaysia and clear immigration using your eVAL and eVisa.
Within 7 days of arrival, undergo the 'Post-Arrival Medical Screening' at an EMGS panel clinic.
Submit your passport to the university to get the 'Student Pass' sticker (Endorsement).
